well your not actually bad. you just need a little practice thats all, if u got a practise like voice lessons, you would be GREAT! =D

Ok sweetie. Being brutally honest... You aren't bad at all. You do need some training and a good voice coach but you do have talent. It's really raw talent though. I think with some voice lessons you would be AMAZING. You have the goods... Just need to be brushed up a bit more. But other than that, you are way better than people here are giving you credit for. Haters gonna hate. Check out my vids! I'm auditioning for Idol next week.

I've watched your other videos, but this doesn't compare at all.
You would have totally made it if you chose 'Your Eyes' or, like you mentioned somewhere below, '2AM'.

Kaylie,
I like your voice. Though I don't think your song choice was the best. You need to have something that will wow the producers in the first round and obviously wow the judges when you get to audition in front of them. You should really consider auditioning again in the future though. Just use a better song.

You're a bit out of tune, I'm afraid, and that makes a huge difference. I know this is a bit of a necropost but I think I'm the first to say that you already have the solution. Might i suggest next time you audition, you use your guitar? An instrument will often serve to sort of tune your voice properly throughout a period of time, and from your other videos I can tell this is how you seem to work. With that and a couple years of experience, you'll do really well.
oh well im sorry if you took that in a offensive way. i would just trying to give you my honest opinion and you did say be simon!

if you look at other comments, people gave constructive criticism without being rude and saying "you suck"
and for future reference and some social skills advice, just cuz you say "no offense" after saying something mean, it doesn't make it any less rude. im not hurt by it cuz i know i have talent and i know this isn't my best performance, but other people might might be hurt by your comments like that or think your a jerk. you can be constructive without being mean.

That was just some comments, and it's not to be mean :) We should just all help each other improve

Oh no offense taken =]
Yeah, when I DO get this song right, it's amazing, but unfortunately, it's hard to ever get something perfect. And it's REALLY hard when there's sooo much pressure on you! That's what happened. I freaked out, my throat dried up, and yeah. But they let me make it through the whole thing so that was good.
Thank you for those suggestions. It makes me think that I should have gone with my other audition song (2am by alexz johnson)
