I've decided to go with the 2000 because I need the extra weight. But you're now saying there's a difference between pro and HD? two different series? :S

Great video Jake ! This is awesome! I can't believe you got the glidecam!! I'm so jealous!! I was actually gonna save up for it because I needed it for a short film I was gonna shoot in a couple months =[. Well yeah, keep up the great work!! Hope we can shoot some films together soon! I'm torn between the 2000 and the 1000, i know for a FACT that you can help me! I have a Canon 60D and when i use my glidecam I plan to have my mic on, which is a røde videomic pro. People tell me different things, the 1000 can't carry the weight of the dslr with a mic, and that I shouldn't buy the 2000 cos the 1000 works just fine. It's hard to decide cos I can't try them out beforehand. What should I go with? my lenses: sigma 30, tokina 11-16, tamron 17-50 and sigma 50-150. Please help, dude!

@Toemta both the 1000 and 2000 are very hard to balance. And it all depends on the weight of you camera, lens, mic, and other attachments you will have while operating the glidecam. If you can save up a little more, you can get the Glidecam HD-1000 which balances much better than the 1000 or 2000 Pro.
