I have the DVD boxset they brought out not long ago but I'd settle for the BBC showing them all again.

He died in November 1985 although he was only 74 then.

fantastic and unique comedy. thanks for so many genuinely funny laughs and cracking bilko experience. the young should see this series and relearn what really is funny! not rude!

Do you know if the Fan club is still in existance?
I think it's a crying shame that BBC don't show this series anymore and that none of the digital channels bother to show it. You wouldn't have any info to the contrary?

I remember this when it was first shown. This may have been the last interview with Phil Silvers before he died.
