James Taylor with The Flying Machine in a late 1966 three-hour session in New York City's Select Sound Studios. This is my first video upload and i think i goofed on the compression with the image but sounds nice and anyhow the covers just drafty writing as the group felt the resulting tracks were of only demo quality.
I used to have a Springboard International edition of this LP. The cover had a drawing of James. It appeared to have been partially based on the Sweet Baby James cover. I enjoyed this album. He did recut several of these songs for the Apple album. Apparently Chip Taylor wasn't happy that James didn't endorse his issuing these recordings.

This session was produced by legendary songwriter/producer/gambler Chip Taylor, Jon Voight's younger brother who wrote WILD THING and ANGEL OF THE MORNING. Chip has been credited with *discovering* Sweet Baby James Taylor, producing his first album before the Beatles signed JT to Apple Records. Go to Facebook, search "ChipTaylor Andfriends"....
