Challis is home finally! Challis was up north teaching my stepmom dressage while I was recooping...He gave her a reason to get up every morning after my dad passed away. She is now enjoying her horse and I am celebrating having him home!!!!!

Challis is at Rebel D Ranch in Ramona, California. Denise Landstedt is the owner of this retirement facility and Challis and I love it tremendously. Denise is a wonderful, caring person and I trust her completely with Challis. Challis was at her place last year for a few months before he went up north. if you are interested in boarding your horse for retirement, check out Rebel D Ranch in Ramona, California. She has great footing in her round pen, Huge pastures, fresh water and big shelters for the horses.

@imsbk00 Hi there! Thanks for your comment. How fun you got to ride CHallis back then, he was in his prime for sure! He is 28 now and still full of energy. I go and ride occasionally and he just wants to passage and do pirouettes. Of course, I take it easy with him!

WOW, I had the pleasure of being allowed to ride your horse in 1997 or 1998. It is AMAZING to see how great Challis looks at 24! Too funny that he does not seem to want to walk on a lunge line... he used to almost bunny hop at a canter when you tried to lunge him years ago! He looks GREAT!

Thanks! I have been so careful with him and followed the training pyramid every day. Lots of long and long!
