About Max & Chat, we dunno. Perhaps waiting at the ship or something.. LOL.
But I used Max for the final battle.. LOL.. Namco should make an effort to show them at least a few seconds cut scene.

Chat was on the ship, that was confirmed. However, Max wasn't shown at all.

I played the PSP game and I also watched the OAV but I didn't see these scenes...WHY? WHERE COULD I FIND THEM??

If you're asking if the OVA has these scenes, no it doesn't. The OVA is a simple side story, which events never happened in the game.
