Well, she ain't done yet, but my little-truck-that-could is neaarly ready for the road.
She starts and runs great, however the damn HeliCoil the machine shop put in the new heads broke, and since it was on one of the outside exhaust ports coolant comes shooting out now even with a bolt in! So she'll run but obviously not for more than a minute to avoid cookin' her!
Engine is an LA 360 with edelbrock performer RPM intake, rebuilt Q-jet, 74'-78' cast "J-Heads" with swirlport exhaust running out of some Summit Brand longtube headers.
Heads got cleaned up at the machine shop fully assembled, however I ended up having to take them apart anyways to replace the old plastic oil-stops on the valves. Then gave them a homestyle valvegrind so seat them.
As you can hear, this is currently Straight-Piped!
