Do It Yourself Tripod Boom Crane made from two legs from old tripod and angle brackets. I used my monopod for the boom handle. The monopod also doubles as my stedicam. See my video monopod/ stablizer video. The boom crane also fits on my suction cup camera mount that attaches to a vehicle. See my suction cup camera mount video. Easy to transport for added production value.

  • I haven't had time to make a tutorial yet.... I have really been slammed. I have added a 1/4"/ 20 x2" extension to the camera bolt on the top of the monopod for weights and it works even better. I'll do another video showing parts and upgrade soon. Thanks for watching.

  • I will make a drawing of the portable boom crane soon, due to the many request... Keep watching...thanks

  • great work here! excellent:):):) 5/5!!

  • You are a great craftsman. Any chance of getting a picture of the attach point between the tripod leg and the end bracket or maybe a description?

  • I love this Ideal. Where do You buy all the Equipment. Can you post a link on here.

  • you sir are a f***ken genius!! I am so making one of these, its the best one yet from all the youtube videos ive seen, and ive seen plenty

  • I love it. I will be making one soon. Very ingenious. I really like the tripod legs for the boom arms as well as the tilt function using the pan head. I have made a steadicam similar to the merlin. The car show video on my channel was shot exclusively with my steadicam and the racing video has several shots using the same device. I have made some improvements since and the new footage is much smoother and more stable. I will post a tutorial soon. Please visit my channel and check them out.

  • @nellrockinc pls do, im real interested in how you made yours & it seems like would be real affordable.
