...well...the Japanese was still better....this was just disappointing. I know Kefka was supposed to be crazy and maniacal...but this guy's voice seems to be "making fun of crazy" and I mean that negatively. :(

Perhaps it will grow upon me. (hmph, American voice actors ALWAYS seem to suck! even Terra's voice wasn't very good.) :(

I would like to hear your voice to see if it matches you!. You think that the Japanese are completely satisfied about their voice acting?. In my opinion in the north american version they are doing very well with the voice acting, not perfect, but well done!. And yeah i liked the Japanese voices too, but i dont go trowing critics, because i love japanese stuff better.

Actually, my friends say that I actually do a good impression of Kefka's voice AND the laugh.

and my previous comment wasn't meant to be offensive. I say that I don't think that this was the best voice acting or that the voice actor isn't suited for this character.

Besides, I'm entitled to my own opinion. I'm sensing that this could be a very long and pointless argument over voice-acting so lets just stop right here and agree to disagree.

Dont worry buddy, i understand your point of view, but considering bad voice acting from past games, this isnt bad at all. Kefka could have been worst. ( And i was especting something extremely bad). But when i heard him, especially in Terras Mountage and in battle i was like "no bad at all". Considering bad voice acting i would have to choose Ex-death and Onion Knight for now.

Yeah, but they always have to change the speech to match the mouth movement. Apart from that i think that his voice is not bad.

Jesus so many people are bitching on Kefka's english voice. I listened to both and most people are just too fanboyish over the japanese voice and too stubborn to accept the english voices. Kefka sounds a lot like I thought he would in english, insane with a high pitched voice with some cases of serioussness in the game (like when he uses havoc wing) in my opinion its great, not perfect but its certianly not horrible.

My god seeing this made me want to cosplay as Kefka. But I have 3 reasons why I can't

1. I haven't played final fantasy 6 so I don't understand him

2. My mother frigging laughed at me when I said I wanted to cosplay

3. I don't have a credit card

kefkas english voice is amazeing. he has the best long intros in the game when you fight him.

No, if you look more carefully, you'll see he has two angel wings, each of which appears to be two smaller wings fused together, and beneath those two demon wings. thogh due to the angle, you can only see one set.
