George Galloway and Andy Worthington of Reprieve (lawyers representing Guantanamo detainees) discuss the rendition, torture and ongoing detention of British resident Binyam Mohamed in Guantanamo Bay, and the US administration's approval of torture.

Binyam Mohamed, a British resident, was illegally detained in Pakistan by the US in 2002. He was then "rendered" to Morocco, where he was tortured on behalf of the USA, including having his genitals cut with a razor blade. From Morocco, American officials flew him to Afghanistan where he suffered more abuse in the CIA-run 'Dark Prison' in Kabul. Binyam was then transferred to Guantanamo Bay where he has remained since September 2004.

  • US does not carry out any hash interrogation but they do have secret or stop over flights into the allies countries where the suspects would get torture carried out by the allies force.

  • Maybe you're not aware of what goes on in Guantanamo Bay or other prisons/ detention facilities run by the USA and CIA. Torture and abuse of prisoners is routinely carried out in the name of "interrogation", including waterboarding, stress positioning, sleep deprivation, sound torture, beatings, etc. The USA also get countries like Morocco to carry out torture on their behalf.

  • The U.S. doesn't even hide it anymore. If they want information you will be tortured. You can be picked up off the street and held indefinitely without being charged, without knowing the evidence against you and without your family knowing where you are.

Welcome to the F.U.S.A. (Fascist United States of America)

  • this is like ww2, and the americans are just gonna say what the germans said `we were just doing what we were told `. BS you pussies.
