  • Helped me alot ! THANK YOU ! I would buy you a cup of coffee if I could.

  • @TheMusicDude1997 No problem :) I am glad I could help :)

  • I had a computer kit that had all the parts. I lost it sometime back ...

  • Great video! You rule. I have a MA699LL/A so I can only do the 3 gigs, I will just do the 2 GB (1GB & 1GB ) I think. Maybe I will do 2 GB and 1GB? Can I do that? Like mix up the ram or do I have to get 2 GB and 2 GB?

  • @SugarDaddyProChannel I recommend you put the same DIMM modules, dont mix sizes, it may not work, and if it does, you might take a performance hit. If you want to go above 4 Gigs, just purchase snow leapord, its a 64-bit OS =)

  • Hi

    If i have a Macbook 1.1 Intel Core Duo 2GHz, with MB11.0061.B03

Can I install 4G memory on it? if do what brand name you suggest me. Thanks!

  • @wing103 I used iRam. You need to do some research as to what motherboard you have inside. You should be able to install 4 gigs of ram because you have Core Duo like mine. Match the bus speed from iRam's website. Also, double check on apple's site.

  • Awesome video. I am definitely gonna use this, when I get my new memory in a few days. My only question is... where do you get that kind of screw driver? Haha. None of mine work.

  • Thanks for the video...i had no idea it was so easy to change the ram out. unfortunately for me i think mine will only handle 3 gigs, so i guess i won't be playing starcraft two on my laptop :-P

  • Gramosmusa,

    Apple's website says

    "2GB (two 1GB SO-DIMMs) of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM; two SO-DIMM slots support up to 4GB"

So you need to buy SDRAM DDR3 ram that runs at 1066MHz. I prefer iRAM from newegg. I have it running in three different apple computers and it works fine.

You can go to your local electronic's store and pick something out. =)
