CRUISING ON A JONAS BROTHERS LOVE STORY SEQUEL chp 12

I couldn't get Jonas Brothers tickets this weekend... big bummer... so don't wonder why my writing is horrible... On a happier note... the Jonas Brothers will be in my city soon and anything can happen... right??

[It was 9 in the morning and Nick woke up to Kevin and Sam's voices downstairs in the kitchen. Kevin and Sam were pretty close now, but just friends. No one wants to get back into that drama. Sarah hadn't been over for a couple of days but Sam was happy to come over and play chef. These thoughts reminded Nick of what Sarah had said about Sheryll. Was really still here? Why would she lie?]
[The day passed slowly as the brothers waited for the next day when their parents would come home. Instead of going out, they just hung around home; too lazy to dress up and face the paparazzi, bored of their videogames, tired of Googling themselves. It was close to 10 pm when Nick walked passed Joe's room on his way to his own]
JOE: Nick is that you?
NICK: Yeah.
[Joe walked into Nick's bedroom and sat on his bed]
JOE: I had the weirdest dream last night.
NICK: What happened?
JOE: Gabby was in my dream and she said she was leaving, for Europe or something, but she was actually just lying to me and she was still here. It felt so real.
NICK: It kind of is.
JOE: Gabby's leaving?
NICK: No. Sheryll is.
JOE: Where is she going?
NICK: Remember when she came over and told us she's leaving? You weren't here, but she said that she was going to Paris the next morning but Sarah told me she isn't leaving for another month or something.
[Joe's face showed the disbelief he felt]
JOE: Sheryll did say something about leaving the day she saw me with Gabby. So, she's still here?
NICK: I think so.
JOE: Well it doesn't matter. It's not like she'd come over anyways.
NICK: Maybe she would've if she didn't see you with Gabby.
JOE: What's your problem with Gabby?
[Nick didn't want to fight with his brother over a girl, not that there hadn't been fights in the Jonas house over one in particular, but he didn't want be fighting with his brothers during their time off the road]
NICK: [Sighing] Nothing Joe. I don't have a problem with her.
JOE: Why don't you just spit it out Nick? I know you and Kevin don't like her.
NICK: I don't want to fight over this.
JOE: I thought you were my brother.
NICK: Joe, I am! That's why I don't want you with Gabby!
JOE: What do you have against her?
NICK: You don't like her!
JOE: Yes I do!
NICK: You're still not over Sheryll! Stop denying it!
[Kevin came up when he heard his brothers shouting]
KEVIN: What are you guys fighting about?
[Joe avoided Kevin's question]
JOE: You guys don't know anything.
[Joe grabbed his car keys and ran outside. Still fuming, he drove to Gabby's house]
GABBY: Oh, hey Joe. I didn't know you were coming over.
JOE: I'm sorry I didn't call. I left my phone when I was running out of the house.
GABBY: What happened?
JOE: I got into a fight with my brothers.
GABBY: About what?
JOE: I don't want to talk about it.
GABBY: Well, since you're out of the house, I thought I'd show you this.
[Gabby took something out of her cabinet drawer]
JOE: Are those ID cards?
GABBY: Yup.
[Gabby put the 2 ID cards in Joe's hand: one had a picture of Joe, the other had a picture of Gabby. They had fake names on them and stated Joe and Gabby were 22]
JOE: Gabby, why...?
GABBY: Come on. You don't want to miss the fun.
[Gabby took Joe's hand. He had an idea of where they were going, but he didn't argue with her. Anger still controlled his body]
[Gabby directed him to a parking space and led him to a club. Smiling slyly, Gabby held out their fake IDs. They were waved in. Joe was awed at the colorful lights that gave a raving glow on all the people on the dance floor. Music blasted throughout the whole room]
JOE: I can't believe we didn't get caught!
[Joe had to talk into Gabby's ear to be heard]
GABBY: I can't believe Joe Jonas is underage and in a club.
JOE: [Smiling] May I have this dance?
[Gabby took the hand Joe was offering. Joe was afraid the paparazzi were disguised and taking photos of him but no one was flashing a camera at him. Joe forgot all of his problems as soon as they made their way into the middle of the crowd, unnoticed. It was a new experience to be in a place as wild as this one. He and Gabby shouted at the top of their lungs along with the songs that made the crowd jump and sway. Gabby took out her camera and they took pictures together mid-dance]
[But did Joe really believe he could get away with this? He did as he dropped Gabby off at her house, kissing her lightly on the lips as he said good night. Little did Joe know, his first late night in a club would cost him a lot of attention. More than the Jonas Brothers ever had before. More than any of them ever wanted]
