hey what do potential do exactly?

They're special character traits that randomly activate in battle.  They have various positive or negative effects depending on the specific potential.

That's part of the reason Alicia is so broken as a character because of her potentials.

like ive played the demo and Marcia the sniper? has some type of peotential what does that do?

She has one that gives her an extra shot after an attack, one that boosts her stats when she's alone, another one that lowers her stats when she's near people.

Finally her last one gives her ultimate accuracy, basically unless the enemy dodges she will not miss.

Darn, the enemies are getting tougher at this point. Even a grenade wouldn't finish em' off.

I would agree it took this guy fucking 4 turns just to occupy the enemy base.The problem was he wasted too much time killing lesser "Foot Soldiers" instead of keeping his main focus on the enemy base.I occupied the base in just 3 turns,killed an enemy Ace and enough leader soldiers so I can get a good rank at the end.

On the last bit were you throw the grenade in the enemy compound. If you had landed it just to the left of the enemy or thrown it from behind when stood next to the flag it would have blown him out of the compound and you could then occupy a move earlier. Found that out by chance when finishing this level off tonight!!!

I think he's talking about the game there smarty pants. Or more accurately how badly the guy is playing said game.

There's truth in that, but really bad sandstorms can severly obstruct visual range, to the point where the only way you can see your enemy is to wander around until they're 5 feet away and hope you see them first. Not very effective. Secondly, sandstorms play HAVOC on motor systems, especially back in the 1940's (which Europa seems to be in currently). They ruin engines. wheels, treads eveything. It's not that you CAN'T fight in a sandstorm, it's that it's very stupid to try to when it's severe.
