Breast Preservation Foundation On "The Doctors"

Colleagues of Dr. Jay Calvert appear on CBS' "The Doctors" to discuss a new option for breast cancer victims facing a mastectomy. The skin saving mastectomy, combined with breast reconstruction, allows patients to remove cancerous breast tissue while retain the natural look and feel of their breasts.

My mother passed in 2008 and I was saved by mother too! I honored my mother and did genetic testing and counseling. I am now post operative from Dr. Karol Gutowski in Evanston, Illinois who preformed Bilateral NIpple-Sparing Mastectomy and reconstruction as of 2009.

I am part of a five-year-study to help other woman get this approved via their insurance. I am on a video for their website for breast preservation. I want every woman to know this is available and we are able to pay attention to every detail inside and out...This is a blessing for all woman and should be mandatory surgery.
