did those digimon get those war machines from a freakin' 80's disco shop?
-
one thing confuses me, don't some digimon switch between human-type and beast-type when they digivolve? so how can they war against 1 another?

@chineseshell I get your sentiment. I really do. War sucks. War will always suck. But the attitude you’re taking simply isn’t practical in the real world. There are times when fighting back against the real evils in the real world is the only option.
On a side note, you should check out Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. I think you’d like it.

@chineseshell They fought the REAL bad guy. Whatever Digimon that instigated the whole thing. You obviously couldn't talk him down, so he had to be defeated.
Yes there is a justification for the Atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki;
1: 1,000,000 American lives
2: tens of millions of Japanese lives (Don't know the exact figure)
3: Scare Russia out of starting WWIII
It sucks, but it had to be done. Avoid violence whenever you can, of course, but there are times when it’s your only recourse.

@Godof0Thousand Yes because as this movie has shown, to stop people from being slaughtered the logical thing to do is to slaughter more people. Btw dropping a nuclear bomb on the Japanese empire and killing all those innocent people in the process was an obvious mistake. What could you possibly say to justify that? Oh they were attacking us so we dropped a nuclear bomb on them??? Idk how to stop the bloodshed but I can assure you war will only bring more of it.
-
@chineseshell Yeah, because fascism was okay. Taking down Hitler, Mussolini, and the Japanese Empire was such a mistake!
War CAN be justified. The weak deserve and need to be defended. You can turn your back on people being slaughtered around the world. Me? I'll fight for what's right if I have to. (Only if I have to, but my point remains valid.)
-
@Godof0Thousand War is never logical. War is chaos. Chaos is the opposite of logic. There is nothing that can justify war. It's like a wildfire. The more it's fed the more it gets out of hand until everything is destroyed.

Ohhh I got goose bumps
-
@EVApilotNorbert Where else do you get weapons of mass destruction?
-
@joystick1101 Wars are rarely logical. (That's kind of the point of the movie...)
-
1 word of the whole digimon series : AWESOME
-
