...I hate it when people go like..."burn in hell if you don't believe". sounds like "screw the proof and blindly believe". What I recommend: be open-minded about religion. You don't know if there were other civilisations living on this planet before God created human kind or how much did Adam and Eve stay into that garden until they sinned. the essence of god can't be understood by human kind but knowing that energy can convert into matter an the other way round...could explain a lot .think...:D

it takes millions of years for wood to petrify, but I would like to know how long it takes for individual pieces of wood that has been worked on to petrify.

the ark did not have to carry every minute color and size of animals species we see today. case in point , a wolf would have all the genetics of every breed of dog already programmed in its DNA . thus by selective breeding we get the species we see now . calculations show the ark is about 2x the size needed for the estimated 6-7000 original species needed to repopulate the earth plus food.
