I Thank God for the food that Me and my family can sit down and eat at our diningroom table. I thank God for having heat, hot water, and proper electric. I thank God for a solid sturdy home and warmth in winter and coolness in summer. I thank God for everything he has provided for us and now I ask Him if he can Bless this young woman who wants to work and provide a better life for her children the same way of life. Sister you are stronger than you know and you will be delivered from this.......

I spent 10 years in Bush Alaska, and it's very similar, with worse housing and no cars (no roads), but exceptional food resources. The problem for much of these areas is no industry of any kind. What kind of industry can be developed to provide employment? It needs to be low skill or easy training (in Alaska, anyway), and have a value added that is enough to sustain a small community.

i know people from jonestown and i have been there to see stuff like this for myself, it is a shame they are still living this way in 2012, it is also a shame that this is apart of the United States of America and nothing is being done about this,

Yes, these people are in poverty, but what excuse is there for not keeping clean what little you have? I have seen poverty all over the world and many people live in filth for no reason.

Sad, but in real life, if you don't work or provide some sort of service, you don't get money..if you don't have money it's hard to buy stuff you need. If there is no jobs to have, then you get this..Sad

well, don't u remember how Obama was going to help his own? He helped himself and forgot what he promised. Remember to vote for him again and imagine the wonderful promises he will carry thru for 4 more years. It will get worse

USA is the richest country on the world, the government can help these family and annihilate the poverty in America.
why are u exploiting them like this

@PresidentOfTheBlack , Sorry you feel this way. I am exploiting anyone. I am exposing rural poverty to get help for those in need in isolated rural areas throughout the south. I hope that this answered your question.
