@JustASockPuppet i will be removing this comment from my channel i have no problem with people disagreeing with me but I will not stand for this kind of disgusting vilification of minority groups. Refrain from commenting further on my videos. I will leave your other comments up but will not be responding to them.

@JohnFrumFromAmerica Just saying go to wikipedia is admitting that you don't understand the process yourself. I explained to you my position and you were unable to refute anything I said. Natural selection only takes out the sick and the weak. It's can't give you new senses that didn't previously exist.
Although if I'm wrong, perhaps man will evolve psychic abilities, invisibility cloaking and quantum leaping - because hey, anything can happen naturally in a year or 10 million, right?

@JohnFrumFromAmerica Your scant knowledge of history is showing through. The inquisitions were 100% necessary. I laugh when you talk about crap like "free world". Every govt through history does what it has to do to protect its current interests. The Spanish, who had only recently taken their lands back from the Arabs did the same. Your land of freedom (lol) did what it felt it had to do, whether hosing black civil rights protesters, massacring citizens at Waco, or invading foreign countries

@JustASockPuppet on what bases do you make the assumption that "without guidance there is no knowledge". go read the wik page on "evolution" and "evolution of the eye". as you clearly have an incomplete understanding of evolution. In a sense you are correct in thinking that evolution is guided however it is only guided by the process of natural selection. if you are asserting that there is some conscious intervention then you will have to provide some evidence for this.

@JustASockPuppet tell that to the victims of the inquisition or homosexuals who have been persecuted since the dawn of religion. i personally am grateful to live in such a free world. Are you really comparing our apathetic consumerist society to the horrors that happened under religious regimes? if so you need to read a lot more history.

@JohnFrumFromAmerica Use your reason and logic on such things. Gential mutialtion ought to be banned. As for sex, promiscuity has sent us on a downward spiral - we are definitely NOT happier as a society since the so-called sexual revolution. You see, we have not been "set free" by making the church irrelevant - we have merely swapped dictators. Few think for themselves, and are merely socially engineered by media/govt.

@JohnFrumFromAmerica It's not an appeal, and I never claims any "intervention". But without guidance there is no knowledge. An eye can't evolve by itself without some form of guidance aware of the concept of sight. Without prior knowledge it can't happen. The simplest innovations comprise of billions of cells and multiple components all working together. Call it "mother nature" or "god" or "providence" or the "cosmos", but the process is guided or it won't happen.

@JustASockPuppet Part 3 the words of Thomas Paine sit well with myself and other atheists because most of us recoil at the idea that other humans have a monopoly on truth through there arcane texts. That is our issue with religion most don't take issue with your beliefs as we would see them as incorrect. Our main problem is with the idea that another human wants to dictate to us who to have sex with, what to eat, to mutilate our children and most of all what to think.

@JustASockPuppet Part 2 given the correct upbringing human instincts are not able to differentiate the compassion for our immediate gene pool from people out side it. people who are brought up to think of all people and animals as deserving of compassion will project there basic instinct for compassion that originally helped the small hunter gather groups survive onto many other things including the environment. there is no need to appeal to divine intervention.

@JustASockPuppet Part 1 if you think that complex life arose spontaneously then you do not understand the process of evolution. Complex life arose after hundreds of millions of years of evolution. there is no evidence of divine intervention. There is most defiantly a evolutionary advantage of being self-aware as exhibited by the success of humans. it allows the organism to plain ahead and control situations. As for music and beauty they are most likely a by-product of this self-awareness.
no matter what christians say they still have no valid or objebtive point or evidence, Jonh that was an honest nice song and you have a good voice, so screw god loving suckers you have the right to say anything you want :)

@TheMollettman Why should i believe something based on your subjective experiences. There is no good objective evidence for the existence of a god so there is no good reason for rational people to believe in a god.
