That's a reason why I love metal. Is there a rap or even a rock band with lyrics about History, litterature, and all that kind of stuff ? I mean, yes, there could be some... but in metal, Sabaton isn't the only band with this kind of lyrics. And that is very cool. No attack on rap and other types of music, of course. Just tellin' my feelings! (sorry for my english).

not just about the germans, though Germany was blamed for WW1, cause they lost it. What i pointed at however, was the difference between the people making the descicions and those on the other end of the stick, the soldiers executing those orders. Those soldiers all suffer from the war, no matter the colour of their uniform

I did not mean to start a flame war. (made a pun there, get it, flame...war) about the Vietnam War or anything. Anyway, @Cherdenov, it is clear that @therealwouter was not speaking about it from the American perspective, but from the Vietnamese one. And I have to agree that it was a horrible to be bombed by napalm bombs. Napalm is the single most vile invention that man ever came up with. Nothing comes even close(ok, maybe the A-bomb does, but let's hope they remain in their god damn bunkers)

@therealwouter Im sure Vietnam was hard on a man for sure, but its been so over-hyped. Americans have never fought a really tough fight except for the pacific war. They have no idea what the german, russian, french, british soldiers went through during these wars. The only reason we hear so much about the horrors of vietnam is because all movies are made in America, and Europe doesnt bother much about making particulary big films.
