Algerian football players attacked in Cairo - 13 Nov 09

Algeria's government says four players on the national football team have been injured after their bus was attacked by Egyptians in Cairo.

It comes a day before the two teams are due to meet in a qualifier that will decide who will go through to the World Cup in South Africa.

@MegaLiverpoolfc This did not happen. Egypt was greeted as guests and given flowers. What made the Egyptians upset wwas being defeated in Blida. But what was really going on was Al Djezzy, Egyptian telecom, was about to be given a fine for millions in unpaid taxes.
