  • @snooch1975 Best damned grunt outfit in the US Army - Bar none - No Fear On Earth. I carried demo for my company my last six months in-country even though I was a grunt (11Bravo).. We had trouble getting a caslteman more than maybe one day a week, so I took a short course in demo in Cu Chi. My fellow platoon members nicknamed me "The Dynamic Demo Man". Proud to have been a Wolfhound.

  • @geraldmaddock i was with the 65th en attatched to the wolf 2/27 wolfohounds in iraq damn good outfit

  • @assaultman45 - The M-16 Commando sucked.......

  • @facejerk ....This was Capt Frank Smith, he was CO of Bravo Co 2'27 Wolfhounds from about the first of Sept '69 thru about the end of Feb '70. They were at Sugar Mill, Phuoc Luu village, PB Kotrc, PB Harris, FSB Jackson and PB Shamrock in that time frame. These were all in the area around and along the Van Co Dong River south and west of Trang Bang toward the Cambodian border. I was with Bravo Co from Oct '68 -Oct '69.

  • CPT Frank Smith, also my granddad!

  • Oh and as a correction - he was a Company Commander not a Platoon Leader!

Is there any more footage of him or his company at your website?
