Ulster 2009 Stage 11 Carncastle.MPG

Jody Patterson and Jeremy Taylor in Rallyhire Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6 on special stage 11 Carncastle on the 2009 Toddsleap.com Ulster International Rally. This incar camera footage starts after the top of the hill climb section. This stage is a very fast and demanding stage, very exhilarating to drive and requires much concentration. We are on slick tyres for this stage, we competed on this stage earlier in the day on intermediate tyres and had a few overshoots etc. We are driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6 for this rally; although this is an older model from what we had been using it is still a brilliant car. It was more cost effective than the Evo 9, slightly less powerful but still very enjoyable and rewarding. This cars FIA homologation expired at the end of 2009 so cannot be used on international rallies any more, a real shame.
