@benjamindshoemaker Ah, okay. Thanks a lot for the reply.

@KKSH2 The 8000 is the 9mm and the 8040 is the .40. thats the only difference that I know of.

Hi. I was interested in a Stoeger and was wondering. What's the difference between the Cougar 8000 and 8040? Both are available in .40, aren't they?
Thanks.

@GuardianDemonX GLOCK just because it is lighter, holds more rounds, easier to field strip and easier to upgrade. I have a few parts ordered for my glock 23 and I will be posting a video on how to install trigger bar, comp spring kit, ss guide rod, night sights, extended mag and slide release.

@benjamindshoemaker ok now should i get a glock 23 or a 1911 ?

@GuardianDemonX depends on how much you want to spend. I would still go with the Glock but I also want a 1911 also. Get them both

any problems with it?

@FireRam420 didn't have any at first but now that barrel is marred. I called stoeger and they said that it should be covered under warrenty and I should ship it to them. I will post a video showing what is wrong and see what happens with the warrenty
