2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid and 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid. Even as gas prices begin to steady, hybrids remain popular as people look for new ways to save money. For 2010, Ford is introducing two new vehicles that are sure to get some attention from frugal-minded buyers: the Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan Hybrids. Equipped with Ford's next-generation hybrid system, the Milan and Fusion Hybrids are expected to travel 700 miles on a single tank of gas and the automaker claims that both models will get five miles per gallon better than the Toyota Camry Hybrid. The new hybrid system also does something that most other hybrids on the market can't do - travel at 47 miles per hour on electricity alone. The Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan Hybrids will hit dealerships later this year. For more new car reviews, interviews and automotive news visit http://www.kbb.com today.

  • The Ford Fusion Hybrid Achieves Best Fuel Economy in its class. 475+ miles on a single tank 30+ miles per gallon. Technologically Advanced electronic instrument cluster and Hybrid Drive System. All for just $29,795. The Mercury Milan Hybrid is also leading in its class.

  • @sweetwater88 lol no it wont :) we will still make it at HSAP

  • you really are a dumb guy. research the car before you comment.

  • No hidden costs + there's the hybrid tax credit. Legitimate sources who've actually done the math (e.g., CR) estimate an ROI in a range from 3-9 years, not 27, depending on hybrid bought, driving style, & future gas prices. People like buying something that doesn't pollute filth into the air, or to reduce dependence on foreign oil, or the common good, not just to save gas $. The car will still run on the gas engine alone even if the hybrid battery "dies", & will still get excellent MPG's,,,

  • Hybrids are shit, they dont tell you the hidden costs of it. If you do a bit of arithmetic you'll discover that you need to keep the car for 27 years before you break even in fuel savings. What kind of battery will hold its full charge for that long as it ages. THerefore how much does it cost to replace and dispose. Then servicing !!! Hybrids dont save you SHIT if you factor everything in. The only car that can save is a FULLY electric car such as the EV1 that GM killed 10 years ago.

  • I hate lead acid batteries, if you drain there power down almost completely you run the risk of damaging the battery.

  • You happen to be wrong, it is the NMH batteries that all Hybrids have are not nearly as bad on the environment as the lead acid batteries in common ICE cars.

  • I´m not an american..But is about time USA did hybrids cars !! 2010 and beyond !! Let cars that just do 25 mpg be gone for good !!!

  • cool.
