I have my blind cat Lazaros for 8 years and I have rescued and successfully rehomed 5 more blind cats (all from Greece) and I could never understand why they are considered ''unadoptable''.
Congratulations on your Shelter, I hope I make something like that in Europe in my following years! :)

i wished i lived down there so i could volunteer.

i agree with them staying there..they get used to their surroundings and learn their way around...would be hard to put them in another unfamiliar place...many stray cats get severe eye infections that could have been helped if caught early..Good work Blind cat rescue..!!

This is wonderful! I have had a blind cat since September 2005. She is named Tundra...she is a Wundra. We have started a "fundra" to help get low income and strays shots and fixed. This summer I found "one eyed Willie" we were in time to save his eyes and now we just call him Winkie! God bless you real good! These are the most special animals and you are very special people!

Since adopting Oskar the Blind Kitten in July, we have been so inspired by his ability to adapt and live a happy, normal life. We are so grateful that Blind Cat Rescue exists and continues to provide a safe place for these wonderful cats.
