Chapter 34
*The next day, Wednesday*
Catleyn woke up and immediatly closed them again, then opened them again. This wasn't her room. She leaned up in the bed and looked around. She saw posters of bands on the walls, a dresser, a door, and a mirror facing the bed. She looked into the mirror and saw herself in a huge bed. Without thinking, she urgently examined her body- good, she still had clothes on, but where was she? She started to get up, still confused and her head pounding, when she heard footsteps outside the door. "Crap!" she whispered as she dived for the bed and covered herself up in them.
She peaked over the sheets and watched the door as it opened and someone came into the room. "Joe?" she asked him, a hint of suspicion in her voice as she covered herself in the blankets tighter. He looked up at her and smiled as he walked toward the bed. She instinctively shifted away from him, but he didn't seem to notice as he sat on the egde of the bed. " Good morning! I was wondering when you were going to wake up!" he smiled again. "What?" she asked him again. "Oh, you don't remember? You came over last night to watch movies, and you fell asleep on the couch, I just though you'd be more comfortable on the bed." he said slowly. She couldn't sense any kind of lie in his tone, and he did have a bet going still. "Hey wait! You remember me?" he asked her excitedly. "hello, why wouldn't I remember you? We have a bet going on dipshit!" she said impatiently. he just laughed at her. "Oh yeah, the bet! uh...no reason why i asked if you remembered me, you were just very tired last night and you didn't seem to know where you were, that's all." he answered her quickly. She stared at him for a while, waiting for him to say something else, but he didn't. "uh, thanks I guess." she said after a long silence. He smiled at her and got up and walked over to the dresser.
Without warning, he took off his shirt and threw it across the room. As soon as Catelyn saw his reflection in the mirror, she couldn't turn away. His chest was perfectly smooth and chisled, with little droplets of sweat dripping down in slanted lines slowly toward the top of his jeans. His arms were muscled as well, forming perfect lines where his shoulders and his neck met and formed into the lines of his chest. "SHIT! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!" she screamed in her head as he turned away from the mirror and faced her. The reflection of his body was enough to make her shiver, but the actual sight of his body as he faced her was breathtaking. She tried as hard as she could to turn away from him, but she couldn't. He followed her gaze to his chest, then he looked back up to her unblinking eyes and laughed slowly, causing his chest to bounch up and down. her eyes followed the slight movement as it caused the sweat to fall down his stomach again. he walked back over to her and sat down on the bed next to her, never once had she taken her eyes off of him.
"You know, it's not polite to stare." he teased her and smiled a crooked smile. She blinked quickly when she heard his voice and fell out of the trance. She looked up at his face and frowned as he laughed. he caught the hint and tried to hide it, but it could still be heard deep in his throat. "haha it isn't funny!" she added to make her frown seem more real, but her lips tilted in the corners up into a small smile. She left his eyes for a minute and looked back down on his chest, and frowned again quickly. She saw something she hadn't noticed before. In the middle of his chest, up towards his pecs, was a long, skinny irregular line reaching from the top of is pecs and ending right above his abs. it was whiter then the rest of his skin, and the only imperfection that dared to show itself on his perfect physique. Without thinking, she reached out and touched it with her fingertips, grazing his skin. He shivered at her touch, but didn't push her away. She traced the line softly down his chest, matching its imperfect shape perfectly. When she reached the end, she looked back up at his face, and he wasn't smiling. "What is that?" she asked quietly, and he sighed. He grabbed her hand and rested it in his lap. "It's nothing, really." He said quickly, but she pressed on. "Tell me please?" he begged him, and he couldn't say no to her pleading brown eyes. "I haven't told this story to anyone other then my family and those who were there." he said, hoping she wouldn't press on. "Please tell me?" she urged him as she squeezed his hand. he looked right into her sparkling eyes, sighed again, and started to tell is story.
