In November of 2008 a delegation from Arlington, Virginia, traveled to El Salvador to formally sign a Sister City Agreement between Arlington County and the city of San Miguel, El Salvador. The delegation visited a number of schools to donate and distribute school supplies to the teachers and students. One of school visits is briefly featured in this video. At the head of the line, distributing the supplies, is Walter Tejada, Chairman of the Arlington County Board who is also from El Salvador, and Cindy Zavala, the 2009 Miss Arlington Sister City Queen.
