Bring The Last One Home (POW-MIA) © 2010 by Palmer Utterback

Over the years I've met and talked to a number of Vietnam Vets who have the POW-MIA flag flying from the back of their Harley Davidson motorcycles. The POW-MIA flag is a striking image, especially flying from the back of a thundering Harley. It makes one stop and think about the sacrifice the few have made for the many. The sense of isolation, loss and ongoing heartbreak experienced by the families, friends and fellow soldiers over sons and daughters either lost, killed or held as prisoners is brought into sharp focus during the annual Rolling Thunder Run to the Wall event. Though I did not serve in the military, this song is offered in the spirit of respect and recognition and in support of those dealing with the uncertainty of loved ones lost or unaccounted for. "You are Not Forgotten," and bring the last one home!

  • @PalmerUtterback BTW, have you heard any of the In Country tracks? Check it out on Amazon, of course use the Radio Vietnam Amazon search if you pick up the CD, well worth the money. :) Very similar folk, wish I could find those guys. :-/

  • @PalmerUtterback Check your e-mail! :) Be nice if you could promote the station as well. I'm working on an update soon with new music and this works great.

  • What a great video. Brings a tear to my eye.
