@MakepplQQthenRQ They did have their own money, the owner was supposed to use his own money but he used the club's money to get them out of debt when he bought them, he essentially bought the club half with his own money and half with the club's own money. And now they're fucked though I'm not sure why you directed that comment at me

most footballers have NO personality. Its true. So they dont care what team they play in. Thats why their wages are so high, because of competition. and the managers just want to win, so they want the best players. Essentially, it is a business, and overhyped by the media, like most other popular things

Without football England would fall to pieces, it may seem worthless but it's responsible for a huge part of their economy. Just think about it, if top tier teams can afford to pay their players 6 figures a week imagine how much money is in circulation between every club in England, between all the shops that sell merchandise and all the ticket sales, if there was no more football there would be a massive dent in the economy.
