JUST OUT SIDE THE CITY OF ST.JOHN'S,NL,CANADA
AND AMALGAMATED INTO THE CITY OF ST.JOHN'S IN 1991.

SETTLED AS A AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY IN THE EARLY 1800'S BY IRISH FARMERS WHO HAD SUFFERED THE GREAT POTATO FAMINE AND
BY FISHERMEN FROM NEAR BY PETTY HARBOUR.
