this isn't bad, reminds me of really early punkish cure. I'm thankful for any cure, but some of their later depressing stuff is too depressing. Depressing is different from someone who's 20 and someone who's late 40s eary 50s. Like 17 seconds is nice depressing, some of the depressing tracks on the self titled are poisoness, that song that goes 'it was a year ago today' is dangerously depressing.

Jason Cooper's may be good etc etc. But he never got the feeling of a Cure song. He never brought material to them. He stripped them down (heard terrible renditions from lots of Boris initial work). Jason Cooper sounds to me like a senseless beatbox. They could get rid of him easily, remember the so-simple drum patterns in Pornography ? Robert wrote them. And they work like no other. And Cooper's not eve able to respect them.

One of the worst Cure songs ever! what was Robert thinking??? it seems he was missing Ross Robinson!
And Jason plays HORRIBLE!!!
-
Howerver he played it wouldn't save dreary rockist shite like this...

The great Steve Gadd always says "IS ALWAYS MORE CHALLENGIN TO PLAY LESS" and this is something that Jason can't so he plays and plays nonstop, dont letting the songs breathe for a while.. it stinks!
Jason Cooper's drums are fine on this. Leave the guy alone!
