What on Earth does race, slavery or anything else have to do with whether someone believes in the doctrine of election? You think that because Black people were oppressed during slavery that they would some how be less likely to think that some of them are saved by God's grace? You have it backwards. Their faith is what got them through the hard times they endured.

This black man is seriously ignorant of his own history, if you asked a black man in the USA, say from 1700 to 1950, do you believe in election? how many would say yes? that would be zero.... as if black slaves in 1860 in USA would say "yea I am predist'n yes sir" You might reply with, “so what does color of skin have to do with anything?”.....see, point made, you can't answer clearly,

I love the word 'foreknow' in that passage as well. 'Proginosko' in the Greek. It's where we get the word 'prognosis' or, 'prognostication'. It means to 'know intimately beforehand'. Just like a doctor performs a prognosis, he acquaints himself intimately with the condition of the patient, before he comes to a conclusion about how to solve the problem. Therefore, God intimately knew those whom He would predestine, justify, and glorify, well in advance.
