Johnny appeared on the Regis & Kathie Lee Show and performed this beautiful song, accompanied by Gil Reigers. The music was written by Herbert Martin & Michael Leonard and was originally heard in the 1946 motion picture, "The Yearling," which was recently shown on the TCM TV channel.

A while ago I watched Johnny Mathis singing on an old live by request video. I have to admit Johnny's voice and Gil Reigers' guitar playing sound great together.
