On 4th of July , Akwesasne in soladarity exercizing rights of passage over the International Bridge located in upstate N.Y. and Canada.
U.S. Custom officials inform Mohawks to cross the International border by barge or drive 100 miles around and cross at another bridge as a result of CBSA abandoning their post in Mohawk Territory.

It is their land still. However, the bridge is not their bridge.
They've decided to play games with Canada Border Patrol resulting in the closure of that checkpoint and the subsequent closure of the U.S. checkpoint. Thus, there is no need to pay to keep the bridge open just for these assholes.
Let them build a fucking canoe and cross the waterway the same way as their ancestors.
