how come everytime i buy something and wanna do something with it, it happens to be the odd kinda type, so that it needs some special friggin adapter and a load of other crap to work.

@YoungMoney835 dude if this future is in a xp then it has to be with windows 7 (duh winning) yeah you could use is in win 7 but it matters on the video card just try to see if it works. If not then the video card does not support it =( Good luck!

@TheLittleWorldofGaz well on the laptop if it has a vga or even posibly a hdmi output then it should work great with another monitor
