RED LIPSTICK

Lipstick's most iconic color was reinvented this season, proving that there are endless ways to wear a dramatic red. Light, deep stark or bright, red lipstick is making a HUGE comeback!

CAT EYES - Winged Eyeliner

Finding its feet again, winged eyeliner is making a comeback - only this time with more "colourful" options. From subtle flicks to extreme wings, eyeliner is set to take the stage.

POWER BROWS:

Ah, the power brow. This time the full brow is given a makeover with strong, elegent pwoderful brows. These brows are taken more to an extreme than fuller, thicker brows but are certainly striking.

DOLL LASHES: Fake lashes give the impression of longer, fuller, sexier lashes and frankly what is more beautiful than that?

FLUSHED CHEEKS: Blusher is back and i'm glad. While i love subtle blush, the flushed cheek has always beens something i love. This season were seeing bright flushed cheeks in pinks, golds and bronzes.

GLITTER: Glitter and diamond powders add a shinning quality to the face, lips or eyes. Adding just a touch to the inner corners of the eyes can make a huge difference to your makeup.

POP OF COLOUR: Adding a bright pop of colour to your eye, cheeks or lips calls all the attention to this area. Personally other than a red lip i like to use a coloured liner to make the eyes pop while still looking natural and wearable.

ROSE BUD LIPS: That beautiful snow white lip. Just bitten. Flushed. There are loads of ways to get a beautiful rose bud lip - from stains to sheer lipsticks to light tinted glosses the list is endless.

What a fun video!

I can't express how relieved I am that "nude lips" did not appear on this list!

I am SOO tired of seeing wan, colorless lips.

On me, it's the Dawn of the Dead, or at least the Age of Anemia.

I skipped that trend, and kept right on wearing my flattering-to-me reds and bright pinks.

Now, of course, bright lips are "in."

All that to say: It's fun when trends work for you, I don't think anyone need feel "uncool" for skipping the ones that don't.

Wayne, can you please do a subtle winged eyeliner tutorial with gel liner and an eyeliner brush like the MAC 210? I'm poo at winged liner, it just looks silly on me and I don't know exactly what to do. Can't wait for your tutorial! (:
