  • 'I know this is being taped, but how does this one start?'

    Good old Judy!

  • "I DON'T .. ahhhwhaddaabeejaabaa" made me laugh out loud. xD She could be so funny, and then once she buckles down she lets out a stellar performance.

  • Not too shabby for someone who didn't know what song she was supposed to sing.

  • Judy Garland tremendous interpretation of Harold Arlen,s classic song. I just discover this introductory verse, which other singers leave out. The arrangent which included the studio backround vocalists and the orchestra is magnificent. Ms Garland you were an American tresure, We love you!

  • uhhhh goosebumps

  • Love her!

  • @michaeljohndudley Dear Michael, Thanks for your resopnse. . What a wonderful person and entertainer she was. It is shame that the good die young; now doctors can keep people alive longer and it makes the world richer. . My Judy Garland favorite is: "I happen to like New York" elsewhere on You-Tube. Cheers. from, del-boy.
  • @Call1800POO Dear del-boy, as a recovering alcoholic I totally agree.

Dear Michael, Nope, I think her most important prop was chemical/medicinal.

    .

    So say the biographers.

    .

    Cheers.

  • Nobody sings the Harold Arlen Songbook like Judy Garland. She just seems to fit his songs perfectly to herself everytime.

  • Omg i love her. She's a sassy, beautiful, incredibly smart and talented little minx. And somehow she also kept getting better looking with age (wtf lol?) She never "really" died to anyone who's loved her :)
