I have just started the hobby of timed Christmas lights and bought my first Do It Yourself - LightORama control boxes. These are the boxes that just require assembly not soldering. thanks for the awesome tutorial. I think ill do this instead of buying the pre-built controllers. Do you have to solder the wires to the circuit board or can you just plug them in?

I bought the ones that were already soldered. So it is just plug and go. The video has all the steps.
