By mentioning that apple no longer manufacture their own products you are talking about manufacturing facilities. Shit goes from a final design to a manufactured product in those facilities. Nowhere else.

Why do you bring up the manufacturing facilities? They are outsourced, just like every other computer manufacturer. It makes the most economic sense. It's also been standard practice since the late 1980s.
