My 2003 Gretsch 6122JR (Country Classic Junior) in rehearsals for church worship team, Jan. 2010; near the end I'm also playing a Fender Rhodes piano (not mine); the gorgeous footage was captured in HD by Doug DeYoung (thank you Doug!) on a Canon 500D T1i DSLR, and edited by myself in Final Cut Express; all audio is in mono and from the camera itself. Feel free to ask any question!

  • Hey Geoff - I'm from Canada and also part of a Worship Team here in Toronto. Where did you buy this guitar? I was considering a Duesenberg Starplayer TV before I saw you playing this sweet machine.

    Many Thanks - Robin

  • @rmachanda thanks for the comment; I got it from a guy on eBay in 2006, who bought it at Guitar Center; but Gretsch stopped making this model in 2004 I think; the Juniors are hard to find today, but they're really sweet. I'd buy another one in a second.

  • Nice Job guys and girls.

  • Sounds good. Dunno if I'd get a jr tho.

  • @helter69skelter I know; the original 6122 seems absolutely huge compared to my Junior!

  • dude you're a great skilled worship guitarist !

  • Nice guitar man.

I also own a Gretsch guitar, and I also play it on a worship team.

Although, I love how it sounds with my POD x3 live, I love playing it with a microphoned amp like that Marshall you`ve got back there.

    Nice sound man

  • Beautiful footage, beautiful guitar, amazing fingers, adorable guitar player! Thanks for posting.
