  • Thank you!!! Very Helpful.

  • Ok ive managed to work out the brush setting on the mask. It needs to be set on EXCLUSION in the "mode brush" drop down box. This is the only way it will work on my version of Elements 6. Why it works on normal in the video iam not sure as mine just paints on the image.

This is a very intersting video and i thank you for it. However iam just starting out and really need you to go just a little slower with the mouse clicks. Cheers

  • @m1a1fan

Did you ever manage to get the brush to work on the mask as mine just paints like you said. ?

  • Very cool! Took a number of times through, watching and imitating what you were doing, as you were doing it. Also went to more basic tutorials on hue, sat, curves, etc. Was able to optimized sky, nearby hillside at Whistler, and the 2 people in the front. Before, when one looked great, the other 2 didn't. Now all good. Thanks.

  • Not a good tutorial, not very clear what your doing.

  • @sitzsack2 I'm wondering the same thing.

  • Not a very good tutorial. He needs to do a better job explaining what is going on after 4:00. Creating a "Group" and clicking on the dividing lines between the two layers. What in the world is he describing? This doesn't seen to work when I try it. After I select the brush, the Brush just paints all over the image. Please provide a better and slower explanation if you want to make this useful.

  • so do you have to shoot in RAW to be able to do this?

  • but it still leaves you with a high dynamic range type image. which is the desired result...

  • How i can do something with APE 6 thats photo's like it's drawed!

    How i can do that?
