MAX & IAGO - El cor de la ciutat, ep. 1561

SCENE 1 (Max & Iago): They both are at Beni's. The flat has been renewed. Iago's impressed. Beni will be out for the whole week (he's in Amsterdam due to his job). The fridge is empty so Max is going to buy some food. In the meanwhile, Iago could rest a little. They are very affectionnate 'cause they've been longing so much for each other. Iago's hasn't stopped thinking about his mother (how she must have been longing for his son while she was in prison) and he thanks Max for all he has done for him.

SCENE 2 (Iago): He's asleep and he's calling for his mother. "Mum, don't do it!" He wakes up and leaves the flat: "Be back in a moment".

SCENE 3 (Iago & Max -- Paquita's guesthouse): Iago is at Paquita's, in the room his mother rented before getting killed. All her belongings are inside a box. Iago's looking at them: photos of his mother's grand-parents (who left their grand-daughter), a dice which belonged to Iago's father and a small box with Iago's milk teeth. He starts crying and feels sorry for her: he disappointed her, just as her grand-parents and her partner (Iago's father) did years ago. That's why he decides to keep the promise he made her before dying, when she was still alive in his arms: he will never be a delinquent anymore.

Sólo queda decir que estos dos tíos tienen una grannnn química y eso es muy difícil de encontrar; ya sea entre un hombre y una mujer o un hombre-hombre o mujer-mujer. Vale la pena seguir viendo esta historia y espero que dure mucho tiempo más. Gracias Inakitxu75.

TOTALMENTE DE ACUERDO CONTIGO, Cayeta84. La química entre ambos actores añade, sin duda, mucho atractivo a la historia. Marc dijo en la entrevista en Tvist que Bernat le había puesto las cosas muy fáciles y se demostró en "El club" que la química existe incluso fuera de la pantalla.

El dado y los dientes de leche: dos bonitas metáforas de los avatares del destino y de la infancia perdida.

Me encanta la escena de la habitación: Iago tiene las emociones a flor de piel y parece tan frágil...

A partir de ahora, ambos personajes están unidos por una misma herida: la pérdida de un ser al que adoraban, bien sea Berta (en el caso de Iago) o Quim (el padre adoptivo de Max, a quien éste quería con toda el alma).

As always many thanks for your wonderful work. I'm afraid I found today's episode very poor from the production view. I guess I find the scenes pretty tame when you consider Ollie and Christian. I was definitely not buzzing today!

Very beautiful episode! Max & Iago are so tender when they are together!

Love when Max asks Iago what does he want to eat for lunch and Iago's big smile: "Haven't guessed?".

Then Max answers: "I don't want you to faint".

Iago and Max are happy to be together again. They make me smile. I'm glad that Iago remembers his promise to Berta and hope that he will keep his promise. I'm glad that we didn't get any more fake kisses. The actors should be totally committed to playing such wonderfully written characters.

kusonson, I agree that it will be hellish for them to live in the neighborhood for awhile, but their love can overcome anything.

It has been very long that Max and Iago kiss so passionately. It is really good to see that they are back together!!!

But I am quite/very worried about what Iago can do afterwards??? I don't think Beni will agree to let Iago stay at his house! Also, when they go out, they will again be gossiped by the neighbourhood. Some unfriendly stares are inevitable... and I'm afraid that the neighbourhood will make fun of or insult them even in their presence...!!
