Hey man I'm about where you are. I've been using Neutrogena Fragrance Free on my face as well every day but with the cold and the dryness my face is taking a beating.
A question though, Did your back ever improve? I don't think you mentioned it in any of your later vids.

that is so great to know about hydrating before a bloodtest..i really appreciate that, i'm on accutane as well and i always get nervous for the bloodwork part of it so i really appreciate you sharing that!

what about the red marks? will roaccutane help me get rid of those? fortunately i have no scars, at least until now.

Anyway, thanks for the reply. I'm not really in my early teens, I'm 17, so maybe my doctor just doesn't often prescribe Accutane and he's hesitant to or something. I don't know... but thanks for your feedback! Your skin looks really great.

Hey, thanks for the videos!
(Warning, gross description) I get really deep, painful, inflamed acne on the sides of my face, and nothing really helps, yet my dermatologist wouldn't consider Accutane because he said it is very severe and only a last resort. I guess I don't really understand what's so serious about it. It seems to me that the health risks are about the same as with any other medication. Do you have any thoughts on this? Maybe I need a new dermatologist, lol.

that is kinda weird, especially if it is as bad as you are describing it. but it may have to do with your age if you are in your early teens, because that's what happened to me when i was younger. as far as the health risks go, i have not had ANY serious problems or scares while on this medication and the stuff about suicide and mental problems i believe is totally overblown and just made up

Hey Shanman. I am glad that you are getting better with your treatment, I do have question for you. What major side effects did you experience? I just started today and if you can give any suggestions on some product that you use for your skin, like lotion. Thanks and good luck with everything.

thanks, im pretty happy as well. as far as side effects go, besides the initial breakout which you just have to bear through, there are only two: Dryness, and sensitvity to sun. i suggest you buy cetaphil lotion for the dryness and make sure to put on sunscreen any and everytime you go out into the sun. good luck with your treatment and remember to stay positive!
