It's absolutely disguisting people are leaving garbage so close to the Titanic. This makes me so mad.

Nasa is spending billion dollars to find water on mars, while we are poluting our on earth. Choose a better example next time...

Seeing what people are doing to the the Titanic is disrespectful. That is a cemetery for 1500 people who went down with her on that unfaithful day, April 15, 1912. People should respect it. I don't believe they would love to see their lost ones' tombs being pissed on now, would they?

The only way I think the Titanic could ever be raised without her falling apart in the process would be to turn her into what sank her - a giant iceberg! This would freeze everything on the entire wreck in place and keep her from flexing and breaking apart while being lifted, while at the same time withstanding the astronomical ocean bottom pressures.

The ignorance of your comment is astounding. If you knew anything about NASA at all, you'd realize that NASA is one of the premier agencies working to solve both the problems of climate change AND explore the universe. The fact that you think studying mars is irrelevant to humanity indicates that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

That fact you can't even comprehend how incredibly important exploring the solar system is demonstrates your absolute lack of understanding. It's not even worth correcting your mistaken thinking.

why? why do we care about water on mars, you think the common man would benefit from this? no! If they find a way to travel to mars it'd be the rich folks and for what purpose, they don't even know if mars can be inhabited on the long term....

I'm sorry sir but you are telling me that we should fund NASA so they can blow the funds on finding water on mars, if you were smart you would have said something like funding the preservation of the earth's ecosystem, if you haven't noticed the earth is like the titanic, the human race is its "iceberg". I'd rather fund the education of humankind to preserve our home planet our water (not mar's water) and make sure that we don't run out of resources for our children to live from. fuck NASA!

Wong, Nasa has known about water on Mars for quite some time. And defunding Nasa is a horrible idea. There are much better choices for decreasing funding.
