This touch table is new on the floor at the OSC in the Weston Innovation Centre. It's not Microsoft's Surface technology. It uses a downward-faced (mirrored up) projector for the image and two IR detectors to track up to forty dark spots on the surface caused by fingers. It's running Windows and the apps are either in C++ or Flash with the touch interface layer running underneath.
The multi-touch table and the mapping application show was developed by Ideum.
