i did what you did,it works fin; but now when i press anywhere close to home button, i also works.might sound cool,but it's not.

I cant believe how you guys did this successfully. What if the two pieces of metal short out with each other...?
I´m impressed anyone could get this done, with the video being of low quality so its impossible to see how much foil thats been used or how the foil stays over the connector metal until the phone closed.
Great hack though, but a better video would be nice :)
Too much risk I would say... so I just ordered a new button with new spring connectors.

does anybody know where to find a video that you can see someone actually doing it? i dont know how much foil to use... how does it stay in place? etc... i'm not too good with electrics but i have 3 months left on my contract
