.. Okay. This vid SUCKS.

I planned it since I knew about The End Of Time, and I suppose when you plan things too much, they look horrible even to you because you're trying so hard. Granted, I love the ending, and most of the beginning, but the middle is the most horrible thing ever. xD

So anyway, this vid goes on about the relationship between the Doctor and the Master. Can be seen as romantic, but I was in the mindset of making it about their platonic friendship more than anything and about rekindling their relationship and "starting again" just starting over. And with what Master did in End Of Time part 2, where he sacrificed himself for the Doctor, well... that, to me, IS starting over in a way. It completely redeemed Master.

I tried to focus mainly on End Of Time, but Last Of the Timelords found itself in here just a little bit. ;D

... Hope you like it, despite its major flaws. xD

I think you are right for the most part, the Master was going to take his revenge one way or the other. But to me, it's like when the Doctor told him to get out of the way so he could destroy the diamond and the link...he could have taken out the Master to serve the same purpose but he didn't. The Master could have taken out the Doctor as well as Rassilon but instead he told him to get out of the way. I love the way that scene is acted...like forgiving each other without words.

Beautifully done, this shows the emotional ties they have to each other. I love in part 1 when the Master talks about Gallifrey and running in the fields all day with the Dr as children. They have a strange love/hate relationship which JS and DT portray superbly. This eps are,well, epic IMO. 5*

This is a beautiful video and a beautiful song. TEOT (1&2) is my favourite DW story. You don't even have to ship the characters to see the attachment they have to each other, even more poignant when they were the last two Time Lords left. They simply HAVE to bring back the Master (played by John Simm) for the 50th Anniversary, they MUST. I would love to see the Eleven and Master dynamic. The way this present series is shaping up, the time is coming ripe for another reunion.

Considering that the doctor and the master only really have about 10 minutes of really slashy footage to choose from, and it has been used in hundreds of videos, I think that this is among the best editing jobs I've seen done on it.
