Emily Pilloton of Project H, a 2009 Grant Recipient, used the grant to develop a traveling exhibition and lecture series that brought "design that empowers" to 35 high schools and university design programs across the nation in Spring 2010. In an accessible grassroots medium, Project H brought examples of life-improving and humanitarian product design, and strategies for more engaged design education, to the doorsteps of campuses nationwide, in an effort to inspire tens of thousands of young designers to go out and change the world.
