There have been a lot of questions surfacing recently about the HPF/AEM engine management system that HPF use to tune the E46 M3 along with how power varies on a dyno with regard to wheel speed. This video describes what HPF engine management system controls and what it doesn't. It shows footage of the engine management, harness, the factory DME and the factory harness. It also talks about the Drive by Wire, Factory O2 Sensors, Idle Air Control Motor, SMG, SES light, DSC, Vanos, AEM software, Intake air temps, shows and compares dyno pulls for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th gear and explains the reasons for the power differences between them.

  • Nice E46 M3! I know HPF is making tunes for the 335i. Stage 1 is out but I'm interested in stage 2 which I believe is a whole new turbo system.
