Injuries and Illnesses: A Jonas Family Story~Chapter 9

recap: Joe is on sugar high, the kids are going trick or treating, Kevin is on a "date" with Molly.

Kevins POV
Molly and I sat in my room on the couch and watched the horror movie. She was terrified and even began to cry a little. I felt kinda bad for picking out this scary of a movie, but I was there to comfort her. By the time the movie had ended there were nail marks in my arms and popcorn everywhere from her jumping in the middle of the scary scenes. Right about the time the movied ended, all the kids arived home.

"KEVIN!! Look how much candy I got!!" Nick screamed as he bolted through the door into the house.
"Woah! That is a lot Nicky!!" I praised.
"Hey! We all got a lot!" Joe protested, jealous that Nick was getting most of the attention
"I know buddy. Calm down!" I quickly responded, avoiding conflict.
"Well, we have to go now. Thank you for having us over," Melanie and Glydel said, walking out the door into the darkness of the night.
"Oh I should probably get going too!" Serena exclaimed, looking at the clock on the wall. She quickly pecked Joes cheek and dashed out the door. Joe couldn't help but blush.
"Oh it looks like my mom is here for me also. I have to go. Bye Nick. I'll see you Monday." Reagan said, as she hugged Nick, who also blushed. She ran out the door, waving to Nick.

Later on that night Andee and I were trying to get the kids in bed. They were stubborn and refused. Molly just left a couple minutes ago because she was already late for her curfew.
"I DUN WANNA!!" Joe screeched as Andee tryed to get him in bed.
"Joey, please cooperate. You're getting to old for this behavior," I scolded.
"UGH! That's not fair!" Joe whined, climbing into his bed.
"Goodnight buddy," I said, tucking him into his bed. "Goodnight Nicky." I turned off the lights in their roon and walked into Dani and Lexi's room. They were up giggling and texting. Basic girl stuff I guess.
"Time for bed girls!" I scolded.
"But Kev!! Dani's friend's sister's boyfriend's sister's friend just met Miley Cyrus!! This is not time for sleeping Kev!!" Lexi exclaimed.
"She's right Kev!! We can't sleep now!! There is texting to be done!!" Dani agreed. Just then Mom barged into the room. The girls knew that no excuse would work on her.
"Phones NOW! Do you have any idea what time it is?" Mom scolded, angry.
"Well its 11:32 right now mother," Lexi answered.
"And what time is bed time in this household?" Mom asked.
"10:00pm," Dani answered, depressed that she angered her mother.
"Then get to bed and you can expect your phones back at the end of the week girls. Kevin you should get to bed also sweety," Mom said, still a tome of anger lingering in her voice. I went straight to my room and fell asleep. I was exhausted.

The next morning I awoke to the usual sound of chaos happening in out house. All of the kids were feeling quite ill. I wasn't though. I hoped no one in our neighborhood had done anything to the candy they handed out. I quickly rushed into the bathroom to help Joe and Nick. They were both vomiting into the bathtub. I felt sorry for them.

"Are you two alright?" I asked, worried.
"No. My tummy hurts really bad Kevy!" Joe cried, as he resumed puking. I rubbed their backs as they were vomiting and I waited for mom or dad to come in. They were doctors, so they could handle this better than I could.
"Kevin, how are the boys doing? I think the girls have some sort of food poisoning. They are still vomiting," Mom exlained, worried that the same was wrong with the boys.
"No. They keep puking also Mom," I explained.
"Mommy!!Make me all better!" Nick cried, gagging between each word.
"I can't sweety. The easiest way to get rid of food poisoning is to keep on puking, but make sure to say hydrated. I'll go get a bit of ginger ale," Mom said, walking out of the bathroom.

For the rest of the day Joe, Nick, Lexi, and Dani vomited and hydrated and vomited some more. Eventually they had nothing to puke up anymore so they dry-heaved until they went to bed. I knew this was gunna be a long night as soon as I was woked to a ill, puke-coverd Nicholas standing at the foot of my bed at one in the morning.
